Post Title: KS2 Intervention Teacher

Required for September 2019

Salary: MPR/UPR (£27,596-£43,348)


We are a popular two form of entry primary school in Barnet (rated as ‘Good’ by OFSTED in October 2018) seeking a full time intervention and PPA teacher to join our school from September 2019.


The successful candidate will have experience teaching across various year groups in a Primary School and a passion to support children in Year 6.


This is a very exciting time for us as we will be moving into our brand new school building ready for a September start.

Teaching Assistant (Level 2)

Salary: Grade D, £22,779 - £24,030 FTE (dependent on experience)

Hours per week: 35, Term time only
Contractual Status: Fixed term contract

Required for September 2019


Roles available:

  • Experienced class based Teaching Assistant
  • Experienced  SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD in KS1.

You must have sound knowledge of how children learn and a number of strategies to encourage learning.  You will need to be sensitive to the special needs of individual children and be able to work as part of a team.  Candidates will need to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
