Love Learn Believe

Welcome to Blessed Dominic Catholic Primary School. Follow us on https://twitter.com/BlessedDomSch Wishing you a very happy, holy and restful Easter break. Easter Break- Friday 2nd April to Friday 16th April 2021 All pupils return to school on Monday 19th April 2021.

Welcome to our school website. We are a very happy and successful school in Colindale and have been serving the Catholic community for nearly 50 years. We were judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent Inspection and the Lead Inspector noted how the ‘…balance of excellent care and guidance and academic challenge..’ has resulted ‘…in all year groups making outstanding progress’ (June 2019).

Our wide and varied curriculum is carefully planned to reflect current events. Recently, the whole school was immersed in a local study topic to coincide with our move to our brand new school.
We provide the opportunity for pupils to achieve their full potential in a spiritual, academic and moral climate that is based on the Gospel Values. Our culturally diverse school is an integral part of the local community and is known for its warmth and friendliness and its desire to do the very best for the children in our care.

Our ultimate goal is to instil in our children a love of learning and a passion for life itself. We hope that this in turn will ensure that children leave Blessed Dominic School as well rounded individuals who are fully equipped to deal with the opportunities and challenges that they will face in the future.

Thank you for visiting our website.

Easter Sunday Prayer
Lord God,
You loved this world so much that you gave your one and only Son, that we might be called your children too.
Lord, help us to live in the gladness and grace of Easter Sunday, every day. Let us have hearts of thankfulness for
your sacrifice. Let us have eyes that look upon your grace and rejoice in our salvation. Help us to walk in that
mighty grace and tell your good news to the world. All for your glory do we pray, Lord, Amen.
Wishing you a very happy, holy and restful Easter break.

‘To all NHS workers and all the critical workers, we want to say a huge thank you for the amazing work you are all doing. These are tough and scary times, but you have shown incredible strength and courage every day. We are so grateful for everything you are doing.
