Prayer Leaders

At Blessed Dominic, we are fortunate to have a wonderful group of Prayer Leaders who play an important role in promoting and living out the Catholic ethos of our school. They make a valuable contribution to our daily school life, supporting and inspiring pupils and members of our wider school community through prayer and service.

Throughout the year, our Prayer Leaders take an active role in leading prayer and faith-based activities. For example, they lead our Rosary Club during the months of October and May and organise and lead special activities of remembrance throughout November. They also support the planning and delivery of assemblies and liturgical celebrations, as well as helping to care for and maintain prayer spaces throughout the school and in our classrooms.

Our Prayer Leaders work collaboratively with other members of our pupil leadership teams, demonstrating our commitment to serving others and working towards the Common Good. Through their leadership, prayer and service, they help to strengthen our school community and encourage us to consider how we can make a positive difference to our local, national and international communities.
